At Racanelli's, you won't find any of that "cheese on a cracker" type of pizza that many local pizzerias claim as a St. Louis tradition. Instead, you'll be mesmerized watching dough twirled high in the air and formed into a bread-like crust reminiscent of Manhattan's favorite pie. Set inside the Loop Market, Racanelli's offers New York-style pizza by the pie or by the slice, along with calzones and strombolis.
Seating is limited, because the store shares its food-court-like space with several other restaurants. Outdoor seating is available around the corner. The other two Racanelli's locations, at 12 S. Euclid and 8158 Big Bend Blvd., have more indoor seating and serve the same fare. Delivery and carryout are available at all three locations. This Delmar Boulevard location is a convenient place to stop after a show at the Tivoli or a day of shopping in the Loop. -- Jennifer Dockery

The best in St. Louis
This is the closest thing to real pizza that would be served in the authentic pizzeria's of New York and Italy. That being said-it is so so at best. The "Sicilian Pie" isn't close to the real thing and should be avoided. They would go out of business in NY serving this pizza when compared to the greats like Grimaldi's, Pats and John's Pizza in NYC. With that being said I'll take if over that cracker crust St. Louis style pizza ANYDAY of the week. PEOPLE HERE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT PIZZA IS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pizza was bland/plain tasting, the service was by an attitude-speweing, young African-American woman. She made our experience unpleasant by her demeanor, biting attitude, and general expression. We live in Kirkwood within walking distance but STILL will not use their business.
OVERPRICED BLAND PIZZACWE location
The reviews on this are older than dirt....don't know why? Must be apathetic St. Louisans that can't even write. Ok , here is my beef with Racanalli....and , yes, this is a year old...last summer drove all the way to CWE from West County to get served burnt, charcoaled bottomed pizza from Hispanics that couldn't even speak English!! They were kind enuf to exchange said burnt offerings for ....yes, more burnt offerings.
This used to be good pizza..maybe it's just hard to get help nowadays. This is Pizza St Louis...
at both the Webster and Kirkwood locations they turn out what the rest of the country knows as pizza. This is a thicker NY style, but still the real thing. They sell by the slice or the pie and it is worth the wait.
