If Bob Marley, Jerry Garcia and Allen Ginsberg had gone into the pizza business together, this is the hangout they might have created. Situated in the getting-trendier-by-the-day Belmont District, it's a blend of eatery and center for unbridled expression. The color scheme can only be described as electric. Check out the ceiling mural of the universe, the psychedelic Grateful Dead dancing bears and skeletons with pizza, and the Australian Rain Forest wall. While the use of classic rock and '60s music icons in dishes such as the spicy, peanut sauce-covered Ravi Shankar pie and the Jerry Garcia selection (served all the way, of course) is a bit too cute, every slice is damn tasty. Downstairs lives a decent selection of microbrews to wash things down, as well as a performance space that hosts classic cello recitals, improvisational drumming workshops, live theater and a popular Tuesday night blues jam.     Lets face it. This place has been around almost 20 years and its become a land mark. Quick C has a talent for creating good things because he surrounds himself with the kind of people that reflect himself. He's a true blue bonnified good dude. His food is superior cause it's simply a reflection of himself. His employees consistantly keep it all alive for the same reason. Im truely grateful this pizza experience exists.

    They stuck my two slices to go on top of each other. When I got them home the cheese stuck to the foil and wouldn't come off (except for the other slice)
    Sauce=tomato with a bit of salt
    Crust=wet cardboard (some of you may like that)
    Cheese=not bad, but it hurt my fillings

    I am a pizza queen and I would have to say after going to all these pizza places, Beautiful Pizza would have to be the best because they have more variety and meet the needs to people who also can't or don't want to have dairy. Beautiful Pizza even carries soy cheese which is completely VEGAN....YAY!!!!!

    Sit down, take your coat off, and order from a real live server Jerry Garcia full pie Ü zillion choices for heaping the toppings on mostly pizzas most come for the pizza week
