Tucked into an awkward corner where Frankford Avenue sort of runs into Levick Street, Tony's is a little tough to find, but once you do oh my. It's also the kind of place locals gush about freely amongst themselves about but go mum when outsiders enter the room. It's basically a pizza place, where the earthy, thin-crusted, no-fuss tomato pie reigns supreme. And you might be tempted to leave it at that. But sit a spell and take a look at the menu. It's as full as that at any "regular" restaurant, and you'll probably be surprised at how good -- and inexpensive -- the food is. Among the winners on the menu are the coconut shrimp and snapper soup. The ambience isn't exactly highbrow, but it is fun and usually raucous, since the dining area shares the room with the bar. The adjacent, even less adorned dining room lacks some of the barroom noise but fills up quickly with families and other large groups. -- Margaret Battistelli

Taste like motza bread pizza. Great place and people but you have to pay for refills.

Tony's has the best Pizza-no doubt about it! Thin crust with great toppings and a unique addictive sauce. Tony's has been doing it the same since 1951, which is why it is so consistent. Grab a pie and a beer at the bar, watch a ballgame and shoot the breeze with the bartenders.----Great Place!

Born and raised at Oxford Circle and lived in Wissonoming for 8 years until we moved down to Cape May. Tony's was always the Tomato Pie of choice. Will take the 2-1/2 hour drive to get the BEST Pie in town!!! Can they pack it to travel?!!!
