A city fave since its earliest days, locals depend on LPK for reliably delicious gourmet pizza, fresh from the wood-fired oven. The menu features more than 20 varieties, all boasting tasty combinations of choice veggies, cheeses, seafood and meat. New Orleanians show decided loyalty toward the roasted garlic pizza, thanks to its subtle balance of spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, mozzarella and garlic with a serving of crispy Caesar salad on the side. Pasta dishes are served here, too, but they haven't caught on in quite the same way. The ambience evokes a New Orleans/Provencal fusion with its eclectic art and low-key atmosphere.
