In a busy strip mall, you could easily miss Santoro's and that would be a big mistake. Located in Lonetree (which to most of us means the quasi-city surrounding the Park Meadows mall), Santoro's serves up what many have deemed one of the area's best thin crust pizzas, decked-out subs and, in an odd but delightful contrast, cheesesteak sandwiches.
Tidy and casual, decorated with a few Italian touches and hand-painted murals, the restaurant features an open kitchen so diners can watch their deluxe pizzas bake to perfection. It's worth watching because these pizzas are loaded with choices: red and white sauce, olive oil, pesto, chicken, mozzarella, lots of vegetables, pineapple and, of course, the ubiquitous, pepperoni.
Open for both lunch and dinner, Santoro's gathers a mall shopping and moms-with-kids lunch crowd. The dinner hour sees more families who have found this locally-owned, independent gem among a sea of retail and restaurant chains. -- Drew Myron

Very good for Colorado
I am from New York City (Staten Island) so I am certainly spoiled by 1 thing that the West has always failed at : PIZZA. While the Colorado people are all riding their bikes, hiking & skiing the New Yorkers are stuck inside due to the persistent rain and humidity perfecting food. This is certainly enjoyable pizza at Santoro's and good family atmosphere. Even in New York most pizzeria's don't give the kids dough and a place to sit to watch how the pizza is made. I'll never say that any place in Colorado can make pizza like New York but Santoro's does the best they can in a place where there is no humidity (which is a factor with dough and cheese).

Herman and Susie have a wonderful place to enjoy GREAT PIZZA, we have been going there since they opened and we love it !!!
I love brick oven pizza
Santoros has been a favorite of our family from the first time we ate there. My grandson was the one that a piece of tile fell on about 3 years ago he was not hurt but our meal was ruined, even though we were about finished they would not accept any money from us and even offered to re-do our pizza, which we did not do. We go there at LEAST 3 times a month or more, I meet my son there for lunch often. So pleased with your new seating addition. The touch giving children dough to play with while waiting is WONDERFUL. Thank you for a great place in Lone Tree.
