With over 50 locations scattered throughout the Tristate, you're never very far from a neighborhood Larosa's. And that's a good thing. Chances are that if you're from Cincinnati, Buddy Larosa's sauce was one of the first things to pass your lips after Mommy weaned you. Whether it's topping your pizza or ladled over a huge, steamy dish of manicotti, this is the pinnacle of tomato sauce greatness, and it permeates your pores for days after eating. Though the menu is ever growing, few natives need to see it when placing their order. A Pepperoni Double Topper and a side of garlic bread (with melted provolone), if you please. Have your order delivered, carry it out or sit down with your family around the familiar red and white-checked tablecloths at one of Buddy's small and permanently packed restaurants. Think Graeter's and Skyline are synonymous with Cincinnati? Can you recite their phone number?

  • This is the Best Pizza Cinci has to offer ?

    Review rating : 2out of 5   DiscoJimbo03 - 02/05/2009

I tried some of this "best pizza" while in Cinci. This pizza wouldn't make the Top 100 in Pittsburgh. Its like comparing the Bengals to the Steelers lol I'm being dead serious too.

  • Massey's in Columbus

My review was omited from the fist review I sent so I'll send another. I do not like LaRosa's at all. The best pizza I have ever tasted is Massey's in Columbus. It's worth a trip there just for the pizza experience.

  • 3 stars for sentimental reasons

I grew up on LaRosa's, having always eaten it for years on our summer trips to Kings Island. I do love their sauce and the crust but after growing up and traveling the world I quickly realized their pizza ain't that good. I still enjoy it and it brings back wonderful hot, muggy, sweaty summer trips to Kings Island, but people not from the Cincy area will probably not be that impressed...well, maybe if you're from Fargo or Duluth or Boise or...

  • Its good but I've had better

    Review rating : 3out of 5   JMcd59 - 07/09/2008

I prefer Italianette Pizza in Silverton as it reminds me of the Godfathers pizza that is no longer in our Cincinnati area. Two pieces and your stuffed so its a real value and great taste

The best tasting overall but I can eat about eight slices easily is Donatos
But not really a value if your feeding a family
