The charming building, located in the southwest part of the city, is famous for thin-crust pizza.
Austin Pizza Garden is located in the James A. Patton Building (the "Old Rock Store"), a 100 year old historic landmark in the Oak Hill area of southwest Austin, TX. Family owned & operated for 14 years, we pride ourselves in providing fresh, authentic, New York style pizza to hungry Austinites. We create each pizza pie from scratch- that includes homemade dough, original pizza sauce, & fresh cut ingredients. Because of the preparation, our thin crust gourmet pies are unique to any pizza in Austin. We also offer a full appetizer list, sandwiches, Stromboli, lasagna, & a full beer & wine list. Our large banquet area upstairs (seats up to 50) is perfect for sports banquets, birthday parties, & rehearsal dinners. Austin Pizza Garden provides great food in a beautiful, historic atmosphere. • The best pizza we've EVER had!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   XTURBO21x - 07/05/2008

This pizza is AWESOME! I can't believe that this place
has not been featured on any of The Food Network
shows. It is amazing and the prices aren't bad at all.
Hands down the best kept secret in Austin.

  • Is this an accurate rating system?

    Review rating : 1out of 5   Richardebeck - 07/04/2008

How did this place end up on the list? Did their owners and employees submit new ratings every day? Have reviewers ever had Conan's Savage? What about the Pizza Margarita at Carino's, the Lobster Pizza at Red Lobster or the 4 Corners and Red Tomato? Even the mass produced little Pizzas at Scholokeys are better. Can you beat the consistent quality of Pizza Hut? There is a place cowntown on Guadalupe or LaVaca north of 15th St that is better ( forgot the name.) That reminded me of Brick Oven for a smokey Itallian taste.

Best pizza I have eaten since Mooses Saloon Pizza in Kalispell Montana. Excellent cheese on top of real quality ingredients. Very good! My definite favorite in Austin.
