Previously a rough-and-ready bar called Characters, Ruggers has made impressive strides in decoration and interior design: The walls are a potpourri of local rugby memorabilia, while handsome wooden shelves boast a collection of winning trophies. The bar and tables are spotless. As for the menu, pub fare and simple mixed drinks are available, but domestic drafts are definitely the name of the game.
