I took my wife and we had a bad meal. It was just horrible food. Go to a franchise steak house when in Pgh!!!!

Had a great meal at this friendly restaurant this week. The Steaks were fantastic and the service and atmosphere was great fun. Will always stop when I am back in Pittsburgh.

I was considering going to try their steaks but after reading all of the bad reviews you would think the owner would do something about his servers. This is what people such as I judge a restaurant for first. It was hard to believe that so many also thought the steaks were like leather. I hate to judge without having been there but how can so many feel this way without there being something to their complaints. Again, good service is my pet peeve. Paying good money for food and service you expect to get what you pay for. I will still go there so I can come back here and give them a fair chance. That would only be fair to them. Maybe I will be one of the lucky ones to get a good steak and as for the service I don't think that will happen.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

MY WIFE AND I TRIED TO EAT OUR STEAK,BUT WAS NOT SUCESSFULL!I IT WAS LIKE SHOE LEATHER,AND COULD NOT CHEW IT.THE SERVICE WAS AWFULL!!!THE WAITRESS WAS MORE INTERESTED IN CHEWING HER GUM THEN ATTENDING HER CUSTOMERS! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Good Food

My wife and I eat at this restaurant fairly often. We have nothing but good things to say and would recommend it to anyone. The food is good and the service is friendly and helpful. I recommend a steak but if you aren't a steak fan (like my wife) the stuffed shrimp and lobster ravioli are good too.

Good if you like horse steaks

The food at this place is horrible. I actually got extremely sick after eating at this restaurant. I had explosive diarrhea for 2 days. I would tell you more, however the matter is pending litigation. Also, I think one of the owner was looking at my package in the bathroom.

Disappointed

After arriving in Pittsburgh from Chicago recently, a friend and I decided to select this steakhouse to enjoy a steak dinner. We selected this steakhouse for two reasons: 1) based on this site’s editor’s review and 2) this site selecting this restaurant as a “City Best.”

Unfortunately, both of us did not enjoy our respective choices in steak dinner selections. The steaks were of poor cut and quality. Although of sufficient quantity, the poor quality of meat made it almost impossible to chew at times. For a “STEAKHOUSE” their steaks leave something to be desired.

The service, although friendly, was slow and indifferent. You have to ask for everything. You could tell that this restaurant was understaffed. After waiting over an hour to be seated, the end result made for a very disappointing evening. We will not go back.

Was good the first time, so we went back. Wasn't good the second time, but we thought, what the heck, it could have been a bad night. The third time it wasn'g good. We won't be back.

I visited this place 2 years ago and vowed I would never go back. Horrible service, barmaid and waitress were more interested into talking to 2 guys at the bar. I ordered the Prime Rib which was the SPECIAL, usually good if a resturant has an entree as a special.
Was served lukewarm, looked like it was steamed (grey color) canned aus jus, tasted like it was soaked on liver juice. Wilted salad.Anyone who rates this place above 1 star is a typical pittsburgher with shot and a beer taste and wears their baseball hat with the bil in the back.
