Not worth the trouble or $$$

Attended with 3 guests. Waitress ran through the menu so fast not one person understood a single word. Displaying saran wrapped food was not appealing nor appetizing. While the steak was cooked as ordered nothing special. The presentation of a steak on a bare plate left little to be desired. What can you possibly do wrong to a baked potato except over charge for it! The asparagus were Very Large stalks that were tough and stringy. All the sauces were served on the side and cold. Lobster was cooked well, however served with cold melted butter; not what I call well executed. For desert we ordered the blueberry souffle which the waitress served and it was not cooked and ran off our plates YUK. Would never recommend!

Try the Shrimp Alexander appetizer or dinner! Morton's is amazing. Great atmosphere, service and food. It's my favorite place.

Worth Every penny
From Cleveland and had a romantic weekend away from the kids with my wife in Pittsburgh. Great City and surrounding area. I travel for work and have experienced Morton's in many other city's, But Pittsburgh has by far been my best experience. The Service was outstanding and the food was perfect. Nice location downtown and recommend that if you are in Pittsburgh, Morton's will not disappoint you. Oh, almost forgot, Steelers SUCK, GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mind-numbing prices, average
Morton's is good. Just that, good. The scallops appetizer were overcooked. The grilled asparagus spears were lukewarm at best. The steaks were good, but not as buttery textured as prime beef should be, especially at those prices. The wine was excellent but marked up 300%. Nine bucks for a potato? Eight bucks for a salad made up of one sliced tomato? Didn't have dessert, but with one appetizer, one salad, two sides, two steaks, two cocktails and one bottle of wine, we left as much there as it cost to heat my house in January---and January was a COLD month. No lie.
Favorite
My favorite steakhouse in Pittsburgh. Service is top notch and all the food is wonderful especially the steaks.
Not great vs. price
Morton's is an over-priced and over rated restaurant. The steaks are no better than some of the area's lesser priced restaurants and the atmosphere is noisy and smells of bad cigars. Most people who eat there do it for "status" rather than for the steaks or other food. Let's face it...it is just another chain!
