The paintings that hang around the dining room sport characters wearing dashing fedoras or other stylish headwear, but don't worry; the atmosphere in this steak-happy venue remains business casual. The red carpets and mahogany walls make Hyde Park an elegant setting for a special occasion or private party, with Captain's Tables seating parties up to 10. You'll also find sports fans catching bites like slider samplers (ahi tuna, open-faced crab cakes and mini kobe burgers) on game days. The main attractions, though, are steaks, with filet mignon and Sunday prime rib specials joined by "celebrity" steaks like the Steak Warhol (bacon wrapped petite cuts of tenderloin, charbroiled with sweet Dijob hollandaise sauce), Steak Bettis (filet mignon, garlic, cracked black pepper, roasted shallot Cabernet butter) and Steak Lemieux (New York strip with roasted garlic clovers, mushrooms and garlic butter). Top it off with a choice of any of 25 martinis for $4 at happy hour and you've got a stylish stop after work.

Great and not expesive. My buddy picked up the check. This was in Daytona Beach. Have not visited the Pittsburgh location yet.
so so

Lovely atmosphere and the food was good. The service was just average and the prices where very expensive. The piece of lobster on top of the Rooney steak was so small it was hard to find. Will continue to eat at Ruth's Chris.
Steaks and Ambiance Amazing
My favorite part about Hyde is it's atmosphere. Draws a chic-er and younger crowd than Morton's and Ruth's Chris. Try the bone-in filet or the fish-- salmon is out of this world. Also, Pomegranate Martini is one of the best I've tried. Bar gets crowded on weekends though.
Average
Nice decor, excellent service only average steak although my friends who had the salmon said it was very good. But a steakhouse should have good to excellent steaks and these just didn;t measure up.
