If you stop by DeLuca's on a Saturday around 10AM, don't expect to sit down anytime soon. This joint is jumping from early morning through afternoon, and with good reason: Huge helpings of eggs, crispy bacon and pancakes feed the body and soul, and are hardy enough to stop any hangover in its tracks. It's no surprise this humble, simply decorated eatery has been a long-standing favorite among city dwellers who crave honest grub. Tables and booths are arranged on multiple levels, with steps leading to the restaurant's different sections. Want to eat and run? Belly up to the counter, where the cook works his magic before your eyes. This place isn't fancy, and it's a long, steep trip to the basement restrooms, but De Luca's is a beloved tradition -- a no-nonsense slice of Steel City life.

Sorry, but Eat n Park has the best breakfast by far. It may be a moderate priced local chain, but it is always clean -- salad bar appealing. I' ll take it over your list any day.
Strip District Tradition
If you plan a trip to the Strip on Saturday morning you need to stop here. They must be doing something right they have been there for years. I had a place in the Strip but would go there for breakfast. It ihas been a while since I have been there but like Primanti's the Strip wouldn't be the same without stopping here for breakfast...the hash browns, eggs and toast don't taste the same anywhere else!!
not what u think
I used to work at DeLucas and the one thing i can tell you is that they don't care about their employees.Everyone that worked there was a dime a dozen, here today, gone tomorrow! The food was fairly good, but it was always my opinion that there was not enough emphasis on kitchen cleanliness.Idon't know about the rest of you,but I like to spend my money in places where they treat everybody right, not just the people spending a dollar !
Must try Sweet Sausage

7:00A.M. Saturday, bfore the crowd. You must try the Sweet Sausage in natural casing split and cooked on the griddle(excellent). Mixed grill is asst vege's cooked on the grill served over home fries, topped with meat and/or eggs. The ham is from a ham not processed ham, and bacon nice thick slices. Always enjoyable.
THOSE EGGS WERE MADE FOR EATI
THOSE EGGS MADE FOR EATING AND THATS JUST WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO DO !!!! FABULOUS BREAKFAST WAIT STAFF GREAT....PRICE GREAT ....GREAT FOR STEELER SUNDAYS BEFORE GAME...HENRY WOULD BE PROUD
You gotta love it!

Best pumpkin pancakes you will ever eat.........if you come here, you must try them. You will be back. Decor is not their specialty however if you want a good omelet or any type of breakfast food, this is the place. I come here for lunch a couple of days a week and the people are down to earth friendly.
The Pits!
This place was the pits. The cooks and waitresses were dirty. The restaurant was dirty and the cooks were touching the food with their hands. We didn't even sit down to eat. We left immediately. The Health Dept should shut this place down.
reputation outlives quality
correct -USED to be pretty good ----now overpriced and poor service-------snotty attitude and then those little hidden costs that bump up the bill -shame!
Was good

Once again another previously very good place for breakfast has succumed to the almighty dollar. Once they served real slices of ham from the bone. No more. Home fries are now just a bit thicker than potato chips and way over done. I would rather they go back to serving food as they used to and charge more. After all quality costs more. If I want ham and eggs there way I'll just go to ther super market and ask for thick sliced lunch meat-it the same. There are now better breakfasts in the strip district but you have to spend a bit more. Bye. DeLuca's
