Families out for savory meals at a nice price often end up at Armstrong's. The wait for a table (often 45 minutes or more during the weekend's peak hours) can be a drag, but don't abandon hope. Park your booty at the full-service bar and whet your appetite. After all, you'll need it -- we're talking mega-size meals, here.

Though Italian specialties, such as stuffed-eggplant, shrimp and chicken parmigiana, are the menu's heavy hitters, non-Italian dishes, such as beer-battered scrod and a glut of hearty sandwiches, also pack a satisying gastronomical punch. You're sure to take home leftovers, but don't leave without trying a slice of homemade pie topped with chocolate peanut butter. With its huge portions and kid-friendly fare, it's no surprise Armstrong's is so consistently packed.

    I really love the spaghetti sauce with mushrooms and the salad is nice and fresh as is the bread. I have never had bad service here and been here a lot over the years. I don't think the prices are low but I feel the quality of the food is the best. Their take out is good also.

    There food is good, but prices go up every few months. Its almost $10 for a turkey sandwich, thats insane! The service is not exceptional either. I have multiple bad experiences with servers at this restaurant.

    This has been my favorite restaurant since I was introduced to it 5 years ago. The food is great, the portions are huge and it won't break your budget. I definitely recommend that you save room for pie, you won't regret it!

    I absolutly LOVE Armstrong's!!! Great food and always consistant, never have I gone there and been disappointed. Big portions and Great prices. I go there at least once a week.
