Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

I went here with some family members for the first time for my birthday on March 25, 2006 and the food was excellent however way overpriced in my opinion. Our bill came out to over $1200.00 for 10 people. Come on for steak and vegetables, a couple drinks, and dessert. Le Bec Fin, The Fountain Restaurant, Frederick's, etc. are much better and have a much better dining environment. This restaurant is LOUD. I think the biggest disappointment of all is the hostess who greeted us as we got off the elevator. Not once did she smile. In fact, she looked downright miserable. We told the waitstaff about this and they replied 'She's just having a bad day'. the only way I would ever go back here is if someone else was paying.
HAD 5 PEOPLE
FIRST TIME THERE. I THOUGHT IT WAS EXCELLENT. EVERYTHING FROM THE START TO THE FINISH. AND OUR WAITER WAS GREAT. I'M DEFITNALLY GOING BACK.
Never Again

Had an 8:15 reservation on a Saturday night. Not seated until after 9:00. The place was crowded, and the noise was such that you couldn't converse without shouting. Couldn't hear the waiter describing the menu items. Another waiter dropped a live lobster while doing the visual presentation of the menu items. Bad enough the poor thing is having the worse day of its life, but to then be dropped 4 feet...Staff and patrons kept bumping into the table due to the closeness of the tables. Food came at 10:00 pm. Steaks were either over or under done, and nothing special. A la carte side dishes were overpriced and bland. I can't imagine anyone wanting to go there twice. I was really looking forward to a nice steak dinner, and Morton's was a huge disappointment. I'll be trying anyplace else next time.
Too far ahead of the rest

I have had the luxury of trying all the Steakhouses locally and Nationally and I do not know who does it better than Morton's. Ruth Chris....Come on. The only thing you get there is burn from the sizzling hot plates. You order a Steak medium Rare and the plates are so hot it still cooks. by the time you get it, WELL DONE. Capital Grille???? NEXT. Morton's does it like no other. The steaks are always great BUT the service is what really does it. They have a menu presentation that you actually get to pick your steak. I think every server came to my table to make sure our experience was perfect. Wine list a little pricey but why not when they blow you away with everything else. I would strongly suggest you check this place out. Food is amazing, atmosphere perfect and Martini's out of this world.
EXCELLENT SERVICE W/ GREAT FOOD
MY FAMILY WENT THERE THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER A MATINEE OF CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. OUR WAITER MADE SURE WE WERE GETTING EXCELLENT SERVICE. WE HAD THE PRIME RIB...BEAUTIFUL!!! THIS IS ONE NICE RESTAURANT. THANK YOU MORTON.
excellent
My daughter and I went to Morton's on Saturday night. My husband and I had been to the Center City location about 4 years ago and it was just horrible--long wait, horrible service, and mediocre food. Our dining experience this past Saturday was just the opposite. Very attentive service and the food was wonderful. This dining experience equaled other Morton's throughout the country.
