A gem of a Restaurant

My wife and I recently visited the Manayunk Brewery and Restuarant on a hot steamy Saturday evening. We chose the inside seating since the hot sun might make outdoor dining a little less comfortable.

However, the outside decks were crowded, but the large number of waiters and servers seemed to keep the food and drinks moving very promptly to the tables, We enjoyed the comfort of airconditioning but on a less humid evening we would have selected the outside deck overlooking the river, as our dinning choice.

Our choices of dinners were well prepared and our waitress stopped occasionally to asked if we needed anything and was our meal enjoyable. She did not intrude on our conversation but was available if we needed anything.

Our drinks were one excellent beer and a delicious Iced Tea with a liquor that my wife ordered.

The price was very reasonable for this fine restaurant and we have recommended it to our friends and clients. We will return regularly.

Maybe I never had food on a regular day but any time i had their food it was great. There Ribs are fantastic and maybe the brunch crowd has a diffrent Chef because i believe it may be the best in the city I stand by you Manayunk

as much as i like to hang out at the brewery, especially on the deck...its pretty sad that i know not to order food there. i've had 2 bad experiences there eating....i give up! i had ordered the chicken entree and i couldn't even cut into the friggin thing it was soo overcooked.
my boyfriend had the crabcakes app....we might as well of stayed home nuked up some of our own...he's a chef, so he knows when they're fresh or not..we overlooked that, but you can't over look the fact that it was undercooked...he had poked it to check...don't you know (after having to practically wave the waitress down from her "reading") they jst threw it in the microwave and gave the same one back?!! what the hell?!!
lets jst say the 2nd experience wasn't anybetter....sorry. i'll jst have a beer..and maybe nachos.

Not worth it

One of two drinks tasted of soapy water; the other was not replenished
the whole evening. The Brew House Burger was ordered "medium well,"
and came out charred. The Chicken and Shrimp Christopher was bland.
The quality of food and service for the prices was surprising.
