Five Guys (there really are five guys, the company web site proclaims, and they are all brothers) is a basic burger-and-fries joint. It must be doing something right, since their red-and-white franchises pepper the East Coast, with 10 in our state alone. Franchise faithful appreciate two food-prep factors, mainly. The beef patties are hand-formed and aren't frozen, and French fries are cut fresh at least once a day. Fries come in two sizes ($1.99 small and $3.89 large) and two styles, regular and Cajun. Burgers come in two sizes, with bacon and cheese ($4.29 regular hamburger; $2.99 small). There are dogs as well ($2.99), to which you can add bacon or cheese ($3.49), or both ($3.99). Then there's the matter of 15 free toppings, including condiments. You get to pick among the pickles, onions, sauteed mushrooms, green peppers, hot sauce, mayo, BBQ sauce, etc. You also get free beverage refills. The Five Guys' success hasn't been ignored by the media. Five-G has been voted 'Best Burgers' and was praised for its low prices and quality burgers by Zagat, and by the Washington Magazine and Washington Post. Philly's own Philadelphia Magazine had given it the 'Best Fries' vote in 2005.

Best tasting burger in the country. Juiciest burger you will every taste, and their cajun fries cannot be beat. An expanding chain, Five Guys will take the number 1 spot in any city it sets up shop in. Great tasting food, great atmosphere, unbeatable burger.
You're kidding right?
I don't think I've ever had a worse burger in my life. OK...maybe McDonalds. If you just taste the meat and not the roll, cheese, onion, tomato etc. you will find that the meat has no taste what so ever.
5 Guys is all about a show. Give the customer extra fries (cost only pennies) and yell when someone gives them a tip.
The best burger in my opinion is Wimpy's in Prospect Park. Now that's a burger with taste.OOOOOOOHHHHH Grosssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!
I can't actually speak for the taste, but as my husband came walking out of the restaurant with the take out bag in his hand, it was dripping with grease. I never saw anything like it. That turned me off enough not to even try the burgers.
Really Good Burgers and Fries!
I recently went to Five Guys in Absecon, NJ and I had a cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms and an order of regular fries. My kind of place...clean, friendly service and a very good burger...made fresh to order, hot , loaded with mushrooms and the fries were also made fresh from the fryer...I look forward to trying the Five Guys here in Center City.
In And Out Burger

It may not be an In And Out burger, but it damn sure near comes in as a close second for me! Keep up the good work guys! All five of you!
delicios, hot&can't miss

Went there on a friends advice. He was 100% correct. Tasted. Hot(temp), juicy, excellent roll, Not too long a wait,
Go asap to enjoy yur berger.I DON"T GET IT!
I tried these burgers time and again with the same result: NO FLAVOR. I've had singles and doubles, with ketchup, without ketchup, with mayo, without their all the same - No flavor.
Surely a poor result for this survey...
