The tastefully understated atmosphere at Yangming is what you might expect from a Bryn Mawr restaurant, but not necessarily a Chinese one. Impeccable service from waiters in tuxedos adds to the country-club feel here, but it also enhances the seemingly incongruous mix of menu and ambience. Yangming offers a competent selection of Chinese treats that flirt with fusion but never stray too far from the middle of the road. Favorites include seafood with vegetables in a noodle basket and Mongolian lamb and shrimp with honey walnuts. Yangming draws its crowds -- and there are crowds -- from a wide variety of clientele, so there's definitely that something-for-everyone sensibility, as witnessed by selections such as crab cakes and chicken salad. Little ones like kid-friendly touches such as Chinese pizza and chocolate-dipped fortune cookies.

Delicate & Tasty
I've been eating here once a week with friends for about a year & have enjoyed everything I've tasted. Crab cakes to swoon over. Dumplings par excellance. A hearty head-clearing sweet & sour soup. Duck & pork loin dishes with unusual sauces that drew rounds of applause from the crowd. A super variety of wines w/ knowledgeable barkeeper. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I sampled the food at this infamous restaurant and for the high price tag received small portions of over priced food. Definitely not the worst but fair from the best. Would not go back unless you feel like wasting money.
.
WOW, MSG was flying high. After eating a fairly good meal, I got a migraine that lasted for 3 days. The woman at the far area taking orders over the phone was as nasty as can be. Overheard her while waiting to be seated.
Obnoxious Bar patrons
I ate lunch there 2 weeks ago and the food was average. I was surprised given all the hype. What was particularly annoying, was that at 2PM on a weekday there were about 7-8 really loud middle age white men, presumably "regulars" at the bar, I mean screaming and yelling so loud you couldnt talk to others at your table. Throw the creepy drunks out and I'll come back.
Hell Has Whiped Out Chinese Restaraunts

O My Gosh!!!!This palace of poopy was extraordinary in delivering poopy platters. I mean GOSH! This was such a poopy palace. I mean there wasnt one thing in there not made of poopy. Did i mention how bad the poopy platters were?

One Word= EXCELLENT. Yang Ming also features a wonderful wine list.
DMC7090's Review

The food is good, but the service is poor. Seated 30 minutes after reservation, even though we arrived 30 minutes early to have a drink. Main course served after two other nearby tables with guests who were seated after us us, but were served before us by the same server. We'll never go back. What a disappointment, especially at the prices charged here!
