Some of the best barbecue in town comes out of this low-key kitchen. The food selection is largely Southern in style, which means you may get a tad more molasses and other sweet touches on your ribs. The roadside joint exudes a relaxed atmosphere with lots of old posters, advertisements, license plates, a clipping honoring the Yankee Clipper, and a 'Don't Tread on Me' sign. Dine outside at rustic picnic tables on warmer days, or order takeout for a finger-licking feast at home.

Fish is served here, but meat is the star at Tennessee Red's, and you must be in a protein fit to come here.
