Great dining experience

Four friends had an outstanding dining experience over the holiday weekend. Three of us dined on different cuts of prime beef...filet, ribeye, and NY. The steaks sizzling in butter were hands down the best I've had in Portland and elsewhere (filet oscar is a must!). The seared Ahi tuna with crab was perfectly prepared and mouth watering. Service was impeccable, yet extremely warm and genuine. Our server seemed to truly care about our visit. We'll be back many times over!

davgladz - 03/21/2007The Steak was good. The service, ok. We did not like paying extra for EVERYTHING that would normally come with a steak dinner.... Salad/Soup, Veggies, Potatoe, etc .. The steak alone was priced high enough to cover the meal. Hard to enjoy a meal when you are upset with the 'program'. Was crowded and noisy. None of us felt that we would go back.

surprised. I have never
had a better steak and I
have eaten in
restaurants all over
this country. Dennis,
ouir waiter was
attentive but not pushy
and answered questions
with a smile. We were
able to share "Surf and
Turf" as well as other
parts of the meal.

theplung - 02/03/2000I disagree with your assesment of the side dishes. The spinach Augraten is awsone as are the Pot. augratten. What really makes this restaurant a 4 star is there great wine list. The only problem is that their wine prices are out of this world. I thought the service was the best I've had in a long time.
