In Short
This dimly lit bistro provides hearty fare in its heavy-brick dining room with cozy tables, a blazing fireplace and tuxedoed service. Diners sample its legendary crisp, thick-sliced onion rings with house dipping sauce and its signature baked sweet onion soup with Gruyere cheese. The bone-in New York steak is 20 ounces. Side it with sweet corn casserole or béarnaise asparagus. Leave room for decadent chocolate-mousse silk pie with a candied almond crust and chocolate ganache.

UNEVEN QUALITY

Sometimes the steak and service are world class...other times the meal is borderline average. I've been there a dozen or more times...half the time amazing...half the time just good...

Going Down
My wife and I used to really enjoy the Ringside, unfortunetly the quality and service has gone down and the price has sky rocketed. If you have money to burn and are not looking for a great meal this is te place to go.
Have been there twice
Prices were ok, the quality of the steak nor the way it was prepared was not what I expected. The server was snooty! I sent a med-rare steak back because it was blue rare inside and still cold on the inside, and I was supprised to get the same paice of meet back just reheated. Totally unaceptable for a great steakhouse. What I would expect from a Denny's (which is why I do not go there)!
Unforgettable Charm @ Dining
The only consistently outstanding steak house with old world charm and nostaglic elegance in the city to eat steak or seafood and have an unforgetable dining experience. An equisite dining experience with knowlgable wait staff. Grazie for many fine memories, Giorgio & Hope Roccasalva
