The nondescript location and exterior may dampen your expectations. Entering the intimate dining room, with its mix of casual furnishings, mirrors, art and high windows covered in long, sweeping drapes, you may not yet be able to pick up the vibe. But one look at the servers, drag queens billed as "crazy wine goddesses," and you'll realize you're in a fun, relaxing spot to sip wine, laugh and lounge. Crush attracts gay men in droves, secure straight folks and a few accidental tourists. There's a seasonal menu of tasty accompaniments to pair with the 30 or so Spanish, Italian, French and California wines. Nosh on an assortment of vegetarian nibbles, entrees and desserts, including olives, cheese and fruit plates, soups, spreads (sunflower hummus, baba ghanoush, green olive tapenade), artisan breads and a couple of salads and entrees.
