This homegrown original is a fast-food standout. The ambience is no better than at any other drive-through, though the sign tower at the MLK location soars like a monument and the Powell location has a retro '50s drive-in look. If you can get it at Mickey D's, you'll find it at Burgerville -- burgers, fries and cokes -- but the Big B's quality is unparalleled.
Burgers here are made with fresh, lean Northwest ground chuck: premium beef locally raised and ground. Local giant Steinfield's grows and packs the pickles, and Franz Bakery bakes the bread buns. Cheeseburgers get a slice of Tillamook, and the menu features seasonal treats like sweet potato fries, fish and chips with north Pacific halibut, and Walla Walla onion rings following the Washington harvest.
Burgerville also serves turkey burgers and turkey clubs, and was one of the first fast-food restaurants to offer Gardenburgers. Don't miss the infamous seasonal milkshakes, like blackberry, gingerbread, pumpkin and Irish Oreo Mint cookie. -- Jo Ostgarden

LOVE the regular burgers and their secret sauce. You gotta eat them with french fries.

The Thing I Miss The Most from Oregon

We moved to CA in December and oh how I missed their berry products this season (especially their strawberry lemonade). Some may think it's overpriced but my family and I think it's food is definitely worth every cent...The northwest fresh quality and taste is so satisfying it would never compare to other greasy fast food brought from who knows where. Can't wait to go visit our relatives just so we can have a good burger meal (With luck it will be during Walla Walla season!!!)
bugerville #1
since bugerville is the main topic i'ma get on them first. food very nasty burger is very small hell mc donalds cheese burgers is bigger than they burgers. and they are over priced. (now what portland need is a in & out burger joint.) those who ain't on in& out burger take down to southern calif. or las vegas nevada. B.E.S.T. burger in the world... and very cheap...
If you can spell burger, can you really judge?
