I lived in Hilliard many years and had heard about the diner. I finally went , but was very disapointed. The service was very slow (I didn't mind the 20 minute wait if the food was good), and we were never offered a refill on coffee. The food was so so. I had the blueberry pancakes. They did use fresh blueberries, but the taste was bland. My husband had the omelet, and he thought is wasn't worth the price. The place is old and loaded with kitsch, but can use alot of cleaning.

I have enjoyed the Starliner since it opened. I try to get there for dinner at least once a month. The food is Great, It is a little loud be cause people are haveing a good time with friends and family while eating and drinking. The Breakfast is the best Brunch on Sunday is hard to get a seat but well worth it. If you like spice you can be hot here. Try the salsa dressing on the salad.

My husband loves peppers and I'm allergic so the Starliner was a strange choice for him to make for dinner. But boy am I glad the waitstaff couldn't have been more helpful. We both were able to order and enjoy a wonderful meal the plantains were great and my angel hair pasta with shimp and a bunch of great stuff was out of this world. My husband order the pasta dish above the angel hair dish on the menu, Sorry don't remember the name and he loved it. The cuban bread is a special treat. Can hardly wait to try breakfast!!!!

All I can say is this is my favorite place to eat!! My daughter is 7 and loves it too!! You have to try the Plantains and the Cajun Shrim Jumbalya?? YUM!!!

This place is awesome. Not only do they have a wonderful menu all the time, but their daily specials really make ordering difficult. I always have a hard time deciding what I want to eat when I go here, because EVERYTHING is awesome. From the moment you walk in the door, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. This place is a gem.

Mozven must have accidentally walked into the animal hospital next door and ate poo? I have been to the starliner many many times and have never had a poor meal or poor service! They have a wonderful menu and the atmosphere is not like one of Mozven's "cookie cutter" hangouts! Sorry Mozven this is not Mitchells nor should it be! This is a wonderfully unique place with a delicious cuban flare! Take a date she will love it and you will score some points for your selection!!

wow is alli can say my boss took me there for lunch the other day and wowo is it good. you have to try the chile it has a little kick at the end of it that i liked. they al so have gr8 plantas wiht a mailk salsa man wads it good wow i think i need to go back my mouth is water ing juts thinking about it
