Step through the doors, make your way across the red bridge overlooking the koi pond, and have a seat in an elegant oriental-style room: You've just entered what may be the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Columbus. Whether it's lunch for under $5 or a selection from their dinner menu starting at $6, you certainly won't run out of choices -- there are over 100 menu items. (Meals always include soup, egg roll and fried rice.) Don't pass up a chance to try a selection of shrimp toast, sate beef, crab rangoon and barbecue ribs served in a fire pot, as well as the dim sum. Best of all, the white tablecloths and the pianist tickling the ivories let you dine in pampered style. (Live piano music happens on Friday and Saturday evenings.) Looking for some evening fun? The karaoke revs up nightly from 10PM until 2AM, and the cocktail lounge offers competitively priced, perfectly mixed, industrial-size beverages. Takeout is available at a 10 percent discount from 3PM to 10PM daily.

Atmosphere,presentation and taste
I have been to Panda Inn on various occasions and even on late weeknights it never disappoints. The take care to continue the mystique of the ritual of Chinese foods and service. Charming environment and tasty dishes.

I went there for late lunch around 3:05. The lunch specials ended at 3 so I had to pay full price. I ordered a dish that stated it came with Mandarin pancakes-the pancakes turned out to be burritos in a bamboo steamer! The rest of the food was very good, but for more authentic food that would never think of substituting fake pancakes, try the Hunan Lion up the road-you will never be disappointed.
