At first glance, Milano's may intimidate, with a plain exterior that's hard to find (you really have to look for the sign) in a neighborhood that has little if any hope for gentrification. And the warning at the door against wearing sleeveless tees and muscle shirts may make you pause. But this steakhouse, with its disco era gold-laced mirrors and touches of pea green, has been around for decades. And the menu offers something for just about every taste and mood. Daily dinner specials range from white fish and lasagna (Monday) to Delmonico steak (Tuesday and Thursday) to roast prime rib (Wednesday). Meatball subs, cheeseburgers and fish filets are among the sandwiches, while "ocean fare" encompasses everything from rock lobster tail to orange roughy. Along with several kinds of beef are ham and liver steak, pasta, appetizers, salads and a large kids' menu. Sides come with most meals. Finish off this mix of the old and the less-dated with drinks ranging from a grasshopper to a sour apple martini. -- Sandra Gurvis

The steak for the price is terrible. I cannot speak for the Italian food, but you will find much better steak flavor at Roadhouse for the price. The service could be better too. What is that with the paper on top of the table cloth? Trying to save a buck or two?

sherryssoycandle - 02/20/2007BROAD ST. LOCATION: My brother owns the UPS store next door and has always raved about the Italian place next door, "Milanos". I'm not crazy about Italian food, so I never really checked it out, But one evening while meeting him after close, we went in and I ordered the Filet Mignon. I must say, it was the BEST steak I have EVER ate! I can't wait to go there again!
worst steak ever
menull - 02/03/2007We had our Christmas Party there. It was the worst service and food I've ever had at a resturant. We ordered the Fillet - it was terrible over cooked and no taste. We never received our baked potatoes. We were at the Westerville rd location.

melissavb06 - 01/03/2007I have been eating at Milano's since I was in diapers. It has been a family tradition. Now I take my daughter. We now go to the one on Broad St. for a nicer atmosphere. I tell you the food is excellent. My 2 year old daughter and 2 year old niece love the food. It is hard to satisfy young taste, but they do a great job.
