Looking for a place to enjoy frozen margarita and some inexpensive -- but well-prepared -- Mexican food after a hard week's work? It's no wonder this cantina is especially crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. The cheerful, noisy interior is decorated with colorful souvenirs from across the border, although tables and booths are sufficiently far apart to ensure privacy. Most of the menu items hover around $10, especially if you order combinations or specialties of the house (fajitas are more expensive, but portions can be enough for two). Many entrees come with beans, salad and rice. Ladies and gents who lunch will really save dough as offerings are on the inexpensive side. But the killer margaritas (available in several flavors in sizes regular, jumbo, half and full pitcher) and an excellent selection of beer have a way of catching up with you, so make sure there's a designated driver.
