With a wildly branching family tree protectively nurturing this Columbus pizza chain, it's no wonder many customers will eat only Massey's pizzas. Every menu item has been handed down for three generations, and though this is fast food, it's presented at your table by a server who really cares whether or not you're pleased. The traditional pizza is simply outstanding, a thin corn-ground crust baked directly on the hearth -- it certainly changes the flavor -- and topped with Massey's secret-recipe sauce and the most generous toppings in town. (They brag that there are 155 pepperoni slices on every large pizza.) We bet you won't be bored by the menu, which includes specialty pizzas like Cajun, Buffalo chicken and Hawaiian. Or try the sandwiches (the Great Guido Supreme is an Italian-sub-lover's dream and enough for two days' worth of lunches), salads and wings, as well as traditional fare like spaghetti and meatballs, rigatoni, and antipasto. Delivery and catering are available, as are lunch combos priced under $5. If you're feeling voracious, try a bit of everything at a daily buffet that features everything we've mentioned so far, plus desserts that are hauntingly habit-forming.

    I REMEMBER WHEN MASSEY'S WAS ON MAIN ST. IN WHITEHALL. AS KIDS (5 Y/O) WE WERE ABLE TO PICK WHERE WE WANTED TO EAT EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT. 3/4TH OF THE TIME MASSEY'S WON. THE OTHER 1/4 IT WAS EITHER GRANDMA'S CHICKEN OR MC DONALD'S ON HAMILTON RD. WHICH BOTH WERE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM OUR HOUSE. I AM 52 Y/O NOW AND LIVE IN COMMERCIAL POINT REALLY MISS MASSEY'S DON'T GET IT AS OFTEN CAUSE WE DON;T LIVE NEAR A SHOP. HAVE BEEN IN A LOT OF STATES & NOTHING COMPARES TO MASSEY'S!!!!! WOULD LOVE TO SEE A SHOP OPEN UP HERE IN OUR LITTLE TOWN!!!!

    This is the real deal! Who wouldn't love the little pepperoni's that curl up and the cheese that melts in your mouth? I could eat there everyday and not get bored. Real Italian's love Massey's!

    There is the old Massy's and the new Massey's. If you like tomato soup on baked bread go at it.

    I been going to Masseys since 1951 and have never had a bettter pizza anywhere. I live in Dayton, Ohio and drive to Columbus often, specifically for their pizza/

    I was stationed at the Navy Base in Columbus in 1954 and remember Massey's when they opened on E. Main Street. I've had many great pizza's there and it's great that they are still serving the best.
