This spacious and quietly elegant hub is a great capper to a day's adventure in Cleveland's Chinatown. Situated in Asia Plaza, Li Wah is flooded with shoppers looking for authentic cuisine after a day of scoring bargain prices on Chinese ginger, bulk-rate fortune cookies and artfully arranged bamboo centerpieces. The friendly spot also hums during weekday lunchtime, when downtown businesspeople and Cleveland State faculty visit for chow mein and some of the best dim sum Chinatown has to offer. Try shrimp or pork dumplings, or egg custard tart for something different. The regular menu offers its share of exotic treats as well. Kung bo shrimp is sassy and spicy. The lunch portion comes with a small cup of the daily soup and fried rice. Sample from an abundance of noodle dishes -- seafood pan-fried noodles are a tasty pick -- or try the chicken-and-salt-fish fried rice.

I have visited Li Wah many times, and always found their food and service outstanding. I have never had a bad experience hear, and heartily endorse it.
Authentic Chinese Food
All these people who give Li Wah a negative rating don't know what Authentic Chinese food is like... Being of Chinese ancestry and originally from Hawaii, I know what GOOD Chinese food is like. I have eaten here many times and I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in Cleveland although I haven't tried them all. The dim sum is very good and so are the entrees that I have tried so far. The flavors are very good.... If you want American style Chinese food, then go to one of those fast-food carry-out places... When you look around in Li Wah, y ou see many Asian people eating there... that's one way to know that the food is authentic and good....
Keep Searching

The pork fried rice was more like pork steemed rice. The egg roll appeared to be a spring roll and was greasy. The general tso chicken wasn't crispy but was bland. Very overpriced ($19.25) and poor quality. I won't be going back.
Great food, nice location
Situated in the center of Chinatown, this resturant offers great asian cusines with good price.....the post below is just some idiotic person...ignore the person please! If youre not in chinatown, u can try Ho-Wah(beachwood) or King-Wah(rocky river) their foods are just as good :-D
Cooking Cats

I actually saw them take a cat from the alley and throw in the dep frier while it was still alive. These people are crazy.

Ordered sweet and sour pork for lunch. The sauce was good but the pork inside was actually raw! They didn't even offer an alternative. I left hungry and had to look for another restaurant.
