When it comes to the best pizza in Cleveland, Geraci's is a staple on any list. The restaurant has been around for decades in the same spot, an upper-middle-class neighborhood near a suburban university, so the clientele runs from elderly couples who have been eating here forever, to families with children, to college students. The pizza, for the most part, features all of the standard toppings, though you can get grilled eggplant, spinach, pineapple, artichoke hearts, broccoli and barbecued chicken on it. The menu also includes all the basic Italian restaurant dishes including steaks, veal, seafood, chicken, sandwiches and a plethora of pasta selections. Geraci's wouldn't look out of place in New York's Little Italy, with its long narrow, stucco-walled dining room lined on one side with large, black banquettes and on the other with tables (and room for maybe one and a half people to walk between them.) On weekend evenings, expect to wait for a table and don't expect super-fast service once you do get seated. But never mind: Order a bottle of cheap Italian wine and just relax.

No big deal

Been there twice, average at best
Add CommentO.K. Pie...

The crust and sauce are the strong points of this pie. The sausage is what stopped this pie from being very good with such a good pie they use a sausage that tastes like cardboard (It's like having a Corvette with Kragar wheels on it--Great pie with not so great additions). I plan on returning and trying a plain pie with cheese only. Would repeat if I'm in the neighborhood but not the greatest pie.

geracis
the pepperoni and for fifty years, yes fifity years i have eaten there. first stop when i go to cleveland.... would kill to have it here in florida.... why they dont have more than one store is beyond me... the mill
This restaurant in not in Cleveland

How can anyplace be the best in Cleveland, when it is NOT in Cleveland? This restaurant is in University Heights, and it may not be the best in University Heights either. May as well say that a Pittsburgh pizza place is the best in Cleveland!!!
