Angelo's manages to be both kid-friendly and yet also retain enough dignity for a Saturday night date. The decor is funky and eclectic, there are (mercifully) no cartoon mice or clanging video games, and there's also a respectable selection of bottled beers in the cooler. But it's the delicious and creatively prepared pizzas of many varieties that keep the patrons of all ages happy. Some may say the seafood pizza is too frou frou, but others will nod eagerly to the unexpectedly luxurious lobster cream sauce, shrimp, crabmeat and provolone cheese. Traditionalists may prefer the double pepperoni -- it's got no less than two layers of provolone cheese and two layers of pepperoni. The use of provolone gives Angelo's pizzas a flavor that's both richer and more subtle than those with mozzarella. For a culinary encounter with more cheese artistry, try the three cheese pizza, made with provolone, sharp cheddar, and Monterey jack.

    Angelo's pizza is fantastic! Great ingredients, fantastic crust, homemade touch to the extensive menu. Locally owned, operated and definitely NOT a chain restaurant. Enthusiastic and attentive wait staff, personable owner who seemingly greets everyone! This is the kind of place to meet old friends, take out-of-town guests to, or bring the sweetheart out for a nice dinner for two. And did I mention FANTASTIC pizza?

    I've had pizza all over the country and this is almost about as close as I've gotten to Manhattan (but not quite). It is far better than the pizza listed at the top. It's probably one of the best in the area but not quite the NYC thing.

    The best pizza in the Cleveland area, isn't mentioned. Do yourself a favor and try Marcella's in Parma. Then take a true survey of who is the best!

    Used to be the best in lakewood, other than anna's and master, Then they moved and that was the beginning of the end for me. Quality went down the tubes
