Breakfast is served all-day at Sugar 'n' Spice, but that's only part of the appeal. This unpretentious Bond Hill eatery does a bang-up job whether you're coming in for pre-work nosh or a late lunch. Regulars love the place for its homey feel, delicious food and friendly staff of waitresses -- they'll probably call you "hon." The menu is simple, but the food is hearty and satisfying. Weekend mornings draw a crowd, as folks pile into the cushy booths or line the counter for wispy pancakes, huge omelettes and bottomless cups of coffee. Lunch hour attracts nearby business folks and neighborhood residents, who stop by for tongue-in-cheek choices like Red 'n' Yeller (tomato and grilled cheese) or Alotta Bull (a half-pound roast beef sandwich). The old-fashioned service, decor and prices make this diner a hands-down Bond Hill favorite.

To Die For
We eat there regularly. The Omelets are amazingly savory, filled with whatever you want and cheese oozing out the sides. You can't find a better omelet anywhere. The pancakes are another A+, wispy thin and perfectly made. The staff makes you feel like family, always playing with and talking to our 18 mon old. The restuarant itself isn't the most appealing, but it actually was remodeled and looks much better than it did. Its the food that is the ticket...don't mind the rest. Just go, eat and let your belly respond!

Breakfast at the Sugar & Spice was a weekly event before my late husband fell into the darkness of Alzheimer's Disease. Glenn loved their omelets .. cream cheese and bacon, if I remember correctly. Food was always good .. staff was friendly and efficient. My memories there go back to the '60's and '70's. My rating goes back to experiences in the '80's .. if they are having problems now, I wish them all good things.
Sugar'n Spice gone bad??
Was I ever surprised 3 weeks ago when went to my #1 pick for breakfast . Since moving farther east, I haven't stopped in for a couple years and was surprised to see the condition of the place.
I was told that they were in the process of "remodeling". Does in the process of remodeling also mean they hold off on keeping the place clean? The service extremely slow, order was wrong and when I did get it, it was cold and greasy.DINNERWARE...
I would love to see new dinnerware there...How about www.wellsdesigns.com ? I would love the Blessings dinnerware there...So cool!
I love their breakfasts! Mabye the Rooster set for Breakfast meals?
MikeHey Mona!!

This place has the BEST spinach omelet in town. It is WAY stuffed!! The food is good and everyone seems so friendly. I remember a waitress named Mona. She was so very kind to my little boy. I heard that she was sick. I hope that she is ok.
Great Food!!!

My food at Sugar 'n Spice was excellent. It was very crowed, but the food was great and prepared just as I asked. On my next visit to Cincinnati, I will be sure to visit again.

Not very good, but very crowded. My food was not hot when served, and not prepared the way I asked for it (eggs were runny, not well done).
