One of it not thee best in town!

The wife and I love Celestial! This is where we went on our 1st date and continue to visit each and every anniversary. I can't think of a better place in Cincinnati. Great food, great wines, and a beautiful view of Cincinnati and Northern KY.

I was taken to Celestial for my Bday and was very impressed! Very elegant and classy with a great view. We all ordered the Filet Mignon with various side dishes. Everything tasted wonderful. One of the best steaks around Cincinnati. I am use to eating out several times a week, so I am not easily impressed, but I will be going back to Celestial. Also, a must have is their Mango Cheesecake. Enough to share between 2 or 3 people after a filling dinner. Don't hesitate to try Celestial Steakhouse, you won't be disappointed.
outstanding birthday

Had 8:15 reservations for a Sat Nite for 4. At 5pm had to raise it to 6, mentioned a birthday. No problem. Arrived and found free no hassel parking. We went to our table in private room with the most outstanding view, food and service. Topped it off in the very comfortable jazz lounge. It was a fabulous nite.

I chose the Celestial hoping to impress 2 guests (one from Italy, one from Paris) The decor and view were perfect. Unfortunately the service was nothing short of embarrasing!! Even though the reservation was made a week in advance, we still waited 40 minutes before being seated. No drink service in the bar while we waited. Couldn't believe it could get worse, we could not get a wine list or place our orders. Two hours later our food arrives and what a dissappointment. My friends ask "Is this your best American service?" What a shame!!!!!Over priced, over rated!
Fish House?!
The VIEW is the best anywhere in Cincinnati...and the place has a great bar. I thought it odd, however, that my $59 Kobe steak was very disappointing (overcooked and no flavor) whereas my date's Halibut was out of this World. Had to wonder if I was at a steak house or seafood place!! The appetizers and deserts were very good. I will be back...but I think next time I will try the Cowboy steak.

Could have been great
Celebrated a family b-day and the service could not have been nicer...even brough out non-alcoholic bubbly on the house for the whole family. The food missed the mark. Crab legs (very pricey!) were watery tasting with no flavor. "Cowboy" steak was very fattey--delicious, but not much there. Other meals were very good, dessert was wonderful, view exceptional and staff was terrific. It had the potential to be great, but we felt it was very over-priced considering the "misses".
5 stars
I took my girlfriend to Celestial for her 27th birthday. The service was great and the food was fantastic (crab cakes, filet, swordfish). Celestial is definitely fine dining, and as expected, the bill was high.
The restaurant is located in Mt. Adams, so afterwards one can go to the local bars (Pavilion) and continue with your evening. Highly recommended.
