Best Burgers Anywhere

Not the largest, but Dinks has the juciest most delicious hamburgers I
have ever eaten-since I was a child. I'm now 65. Close second, a now
defunct local chain called Mawby's. Fresh meat with grilled onions at
Dinks---yum!

Walk down the street another 100 ft. to Yours Truly.

The best is Yours Truly. I dont why Dinks is even on the list. I live in Scottsdale now but every summer I have to have the killet skillet at Yours Truly. It is outstanding, and the restaurant is the best breakfast in Cleveland, Ohio. Dinks is ok but up until the smoking laws were changed, they allowed smoking everywhere in the place. I thought I was in W. Virginia or some back hills place. Absolutely disgusting.

Been going since I was a kid. Live in FL now, but never miss Dink's when I'm in town. True, portions are small..solution...double down. Especially on the cheeseburger with grilled onions..the best.

I can't see what people like about this place.

It is small and cramped and you feel like you are sitting in someone's lap. Hard as I have tried, I have never been able to figure out why people like it.

As a loyal customer and former employee, I have enjoyed Dinks food for since I was 16. I worked there on and off for several years, my younger sister also worked there, and I want to thank the owners for installing in me the strong work ethic I have today. Some reviewers here may say the employee turnover is high - true, as it is throughout the food service industry. However, these reviewers do not account for the dozens of former emloyees that still visit Dinks to this day and recall their times there with great fondness. It truly is something in this day and age to go back to a place where they still really do know your name. You also can't beat the prices and the food - especially the breakfast and burgers with grilled onions - is delicious.

It's not a suprise that this Chagrin Falls landmark has been around for 60+ years! They've got to be doing something right. The food is great. The best place to go for breakfast or lunch in Chagrin Falls.

Stop by and get one of Dink's juicy burgers with grilled onions and fries! The homemade soups by Dink's prep chef, Chef Kate are truly amazing. They change daily along with daily specials. Many of the customers are considered "usuals" inculding me. I have been enjoying Dink's great food and friendly aptmoshere for over 20 years. Lunch starts at 11:30 while breakfast is all day!

Dink's is truly a unique restaurant. If your in Chagrin stop by, you won't regret it. Trust me!

Also Dink's has won the CLEANEST RESTAURANT IN CHAGRIN FALLS AWARD from the official health inspectors for as long as I can remember. Check a local newspaper or ask around for varification. But trust me, it's posted and 100% true!

P.S. The people who reviewed bad are most likely from the Washington Street Diner (Yuck, they season their homefries with so much salt you'll want to vomit) or Yours Truly (yet another chain restaurant that uses FROZEN bagged homefries.) - They couldn't have been eating in the same place because for 20 years I have never seen the Dinks in Chagrin Falls like that.

I was actually a waitress there and let me tell you, the owners ARE mean, and I was screamed at constantly; once I even got yelled at for asking a woman how her meal was when I was checking her out at the register! I refused to eat there on my breaks, and left as soon as I could get another job. Many of the waitresses that get hired last less than two weeks, which is no surprise considering the treatment they receive from the owner (one is a sweetheart, yet hardly ever there, the other is a monster). Since I’ve left I’ve heard that they have cut hours drastically in a last attempt to keep the restaurant open. Do Chagrin Falls a favor and let the thing just shut down already - its glory days are far-gone.

I enjoy Dinks Morning Noon and Night!! The food is always good, the portions healthy and the service great. I would suggest that the 2 bad reviews probably came from the Yours truly Group.
