Reminicent of the studio 54 days, make sure your dressed real trendy! If the guy at the door doesn't like the way you look, forget it. Just hop back in a cab and go somewhere else. I have only been there on off week nights, but still worth the trip. Still packed with the "pretty people". And odds are you will see a "somebody". Plan on a good chunk of change if your going to drink, but they are made right! It is best to find a promoter that can get you on a list because you will not get in.

the people who gave Marquee a bad review prob.. couldn't get IN... Or have never been to a A-list party.... Thiis is the best place for the moment in NYC.........

Beyond the celebs and gorgeous staff, the crowd is great--hot but you could take them home to the folks cause underneath they're pretty decent! Good place to let it all hang out and enjoy.
Best dj's in town.
Go early, dress well, you'll make the cut, especially mid-week.

We went to the club on a Thursday night. We didn't have any trouble getting in. I actually thought the doorman was nice. We decided to get a table with bottle service. Our total was $820, which is a bit steep. We had a great time, and met IceT, Prince, Outkast, and many others.

If you want to rub elbows with some celebs and enjoy one of NYC's most posh club experiences, then Marquee is the place for you. However, getting in could be challenging, especially if you aren't on a guest list and don't have hundreds of dollars to spend in a night. Marquee is known to get crowded, but the good-looking guys and gals it attracts makes it quite worth it for anybody looking for that A-list association.

Had a reservation on 6/25 at 11, severe thunderstorms delayed us. I called at 10 explaining that we are going to be late. The woman on the phone said no problem as long as we arrive before midnite. We got there at 11:45. The idiot at the door told us he gave our table away and "if he knew us" he would have held it. Extreme attitude problem by the door staff! He turned his back on me and let in snot nosed kids that probably couldnt afford 2 drinks while we would have ordered at least 3 bottles at our table. Needless to say, I wont be back. There are much better clubs with nicer staff in NY. STAY AWAY!
