I know what you're thinking, and no, this restaurant has nothing to do with Ralph Nader, unless of course, he likes the idea of a home-cooked Italian supper, in a cozy space with waiters who fuss over you as though you're a long lost relative. The menu is down-home Italian and includes penne a la vodka with asparagus cooked in a pink tomato sauce with imported vodka, and a lemon sole amandine cooked in a lemon wine sauce and served with roasted almonds. Daily specials such as osso buco Milanese, or blackened big-eye Honolulu tuna over arugula with sesame dressing are just two of the reasons why reservations are strongly advised. The wine list is quite impressive with selections from across the globe including a Callanan's Road Mornington Peninsula Shiraz, from Victoria, Australia for under $35, and a Masi, Masianco from Veneto, Italy. Owner Nader Gebrin doesn't seem to mind the telephone calls from assuming lefties, but advises that patrons "come hungry."

Amazing Dining Experience

It has been a while since I've been back in Huntington, but the one place I knew I wanted to return to when I arrived was Bravo Nader! It was just as I remembered! The food was fabulous, and the service was once again exceptional! The striped bass provencale was done so well, as was the shrimp stuffed with crab meat. The Nader salad was as delicious as ever, and I made sure to leave a little room for the Napolean. My meal was accompanied by a lovely bottle of merlot. I know I will visit again the next time I return. I will truly miss this wonderful restaurant! Thank you for another wonderful experience! My compliments to you!

HIS STYLE OF COOKING KEEPS YOU WANTING TO COME BACK AND TRY ANOTHER SAVORY DISH. BUT DESERT FOR US IS ALWAYS THE NAPOLEAN CAKE. JUST LOVE IT!!!!

MamaPapaJr - 05/20/2008This is really one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service is impeccable; the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner and his wife are always there and easily accessible. It's a cozy atmosphere. You almost feel like your eating in someone's home! And the food, of course, is phenomenal! Sometimes the specials are fish that Nader has caught himself! He has all kinds of delicious stuff shipped in from all over the world. I'd really recommend any of his specials, but for dessert you definitely need to get the NAPOLEON. It's the best dessert ever!
