Though Feast Around the World at Texas Station follows the Station Casino's tradition of live cooking stations divided into ethnic specialties, the buffet also celebrates its Texas theme with a notable selection of barbecue entrees, Mexican items and five-alarm chili. The ribs in particular have earned praise in local polls, and the Cajun cuisine is another unexpected treat. The selection of American, Chinese and Italian entrees, plus soup, salads and desserts, stays consistent throughout the week, with steaks cooked-to-order available on Fridays and Saturdays. Once inside, follow the crowds to the tasty fajitas and the chili chuckwagon, where a half-dozen varieties are available. They also do breakfast right here, with scrambled eggs, omelets and a donut selection that would impress even Homer Simpson.

Remembering the Good Old Days

People voting for this buffet must not have actually been to LV in the last 7 or 8 years. Back when Texas & Fiesta were not owned by the same company, they both put a lot of effort into great buffets. Now that Station Casinos own them both, it's not worthy of a top 25 selection, let alone a top 10. Not even in the top 3 or 4 for the Station chain.

The food on the lower end, the selction is poor, other Station Casinos are much better. I will not go there again!

Looks/Smells can be deceiving
Walking around the Buffet will stimulate your senses like taking a journey around the world of different foods. Upon closer inspection it seems more like a fast food buffet with less care on taste and presentation then availablility and names. To be fair it has positives and negatives. The positives, a large selection and decent deserts. The negatives, less attention to taste, temperature, and customer service. When busy it feels like it is a crime to ask for a little extra steak. If this buffet were in another town other then Vegas I could probably rate it a bit higher but with all the competition and my view that taste and quality are my priorities over quantity and looks - I must say the overall experience is just "good."
Texa' Feat Around the World

Texas' buffet is terrible. More often than not the food is cold, and the selection is poor. (However, the desert station is pretty good.) The help at the Chinese station is rude.
I live nearby and I won't go there anymore.Suprisingly, exceeded

...my expectations.
I am a Las Vegas resident, and a food critic. I have visited most every buffet on the Las Vegas strip.
This buffet is enormous, food is delicious, breads and Italian station is incredible! Everything down to thier salads and vegetables are wonderful!
Prices are less than a 5 Star Buffet, but better than The Bellagio or The Wynn!!!
You have to check this place out, service is great, clean, enormous varietyEat @ the other Station's

The "Feast Around the World" is great at Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch Station but not at Texas.
