Perched 51 stories above the lights of Las Vegas, the Voodoo Lounge capitalized on its vantage point long before Strip-fronting balconies and patio seating became cool. When the weather permits (which is more often than not), DJs set up outside on the weekends, but there's always a live band playing indoors nightly. In addition to having one of the best views in town, the Voodoo Lounge also claims some of the best barkeeps and specialty drinks -- "flair bartending" was going on here before it became cool, too. Ask them to whip you up a Witch Doctor, a potent concoction made with four types of rum and tropical fruit juices. If that doesn't make you forget what ails you, nothing will.

Not only are the bartenders very knowledgeable about the liquor & drinks, they are very entertaining to watch too. This is the place where the movie "Cocktail" comes alive. Some of the best flair bartending in the best atmosphere around to see.

I agree with everything trixie said.Ghsotbar could only wish they had 1/100th the class Voodoo does.This is the best lounge and view in Vegas by far.great drinks and bands and no nasty attitude that Ghostbar has.WHat a relief!

trixie636 - 12/06/2003I visited the VOODOO lounge last Sunday and was suprised to have such a good time. The band was really fun and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. The view is extraordinary, but you do not have to deal with the attitude and cost of Ghostbar. I always recommend the Voodoo to people new to visiting Las Vegas, it is an experience you should not miss!!!

nikkisweet - 09/13/2003The view and food are the only two reasons why the Voo Doo cafe is staying in business. The overall service was awful: hostess was rude, wait staff rushed us, and no window seat (even when our reservationist promised). Our party of 6 went on Sunday night, empty, hate to be there when they are actually busy. We went for an anniversary...don't go for a special occasion. Your speical occasion will be ruined!

loca957 - 06/09/2003I have been to the Voodoo Lounge a couple of times with my fiend and we loved it.That drink Witch Doctor is a kick in the pants. The band was awesome. We did have a lot of FUN.
