Superstar Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten raises steakhouse dining to new heights at PRIME, located at lakeside with views of the fountains and lights of Las Vegas. Brimming with Baccarat chandeliers, plush furnishings and gilt galore, PRIME evokes the charms of a luxurious 1930s-style speakeasy. The wine cellar is deep with great California reds and first-growth Bordeaux, and the adjoining outdoor patio is a lovely setting for handcrafted cocktails and cigars. Named "Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas" by Las Vegas Life magazine, PRIME may well be the grandest, most romantic steakhouse on earth! Indeed Travel & Leisure magazine suggested, "they should issue engagement rings at the coat-check!"

In Short
The timeless beauty and grandeur of this elegant steakhouse includes Baccarat chandeliers, velvet draperies and powder-blue marble floors. The breathtaking large windows are the focal point and offer patrons a front-row seat for the Bellagio's trademark dancing-fountain show. Steaks come with six types of mustard and five sauces--all adding complexity to any cut. The signature steak is the veal porterhouse with kumquat-pineapple chutney and caramelized cauliflower. Desserts include chocolate cake with a warm, gooey center.

Our Anniversary Dinner
My husband and I wanted to go some place special for a great meal for our 5th anniversary. We searched the internet and saw what Prime looked like and we knew this was the place. As locals, we are so lucky to live in this wonderful city with so many terrific places to eat. We just took a chance on Prime and we were not disapointed at all! The food was beyond great, everything cooked to order. Lot's of flavor in all the sides. The service could not have been better. Although a little on the pricey side.....it was worth every cent! Looks like we have a permanent place to celebrate our anniversary every year now. To sum this place up in one word......"CLASS"!!!!

Oasis in the middle of chaos
Not only is the food exceptional and the wait staf excellent but you can actually carry on a conversation! Although the place is full to the max, it is not loud and intrusive like Delmonicos and some of the others. We go to Vegas two to three times a year and never miss dining at Prime. We try to get the same waiter all of time. Russel from Penn. He is wonderful.
Love it
Have eaten there at least 5 times, and have not had anything mediocre yet. Very Good, and my favorite in town.
Simply the Best
I am a New Yorker who travels to Las Vegas 4-6 times a year. I leave this coming Friday for 6 days and have booked Prime for 2 nights and will probably go even once more. The Steak is superb. The New York Strip with the soy rice reduction (maybe the greatest sauce ever devised) will leave you speechless. The sides (mashed, lyonnaise potatoes) are the best Ive ever tried. The seafood platter as an appetizer is to die for.Is it expensive? Yes, but worth every penny. The Service is fabulous and the atmosphere rounds off an incredible eating experience. For people to say Delmonico's is better are either drunk or one of the owners. Treat yourself! You deserve it!
Old school casino steakhouse
Just went there 2-20-07 overrated and overpriced. Typical casino steakhouse, not steakhouse in a casino like Delmonico's (the best). Service is great but I had their special, a double cut porkchop not nearly as good as Rosemary's.
Always a Favorite
We always make this restaurant a "must" when we are in Las Vegas. The quality of food is outstanding as well as the service. It is a pleasure to dine in this lovely setting; very calming and relaxing.
