Slow cooking is the key to Memphis Championship Barbeque's succulent specialties. The baby back ribs, chicken and brisket are cooked up to 20 hours over apple wood imported from Tennessee, resulting in remarkably tender meat. The pinkish color of the ribs takes some getting used to, but smothered in the dark, smoky sauce and spicy sprinkles of "magic dust," it's food right out of a barbecue lover's dream. Comfort-food side dishes are generous, and service is astonishingly fast. The restaurant has a down-home feel, with Memphis artifacts on the walls and dozens of articles and awards honoring the culinary creations of owner Mike Mills, a third-generation barbecue chef.

good bbq
the Memphis BBQ near Nellis AFB was very good at least in my opinion. Not as good as County line in San Antonio but very good . Service was excellent.

This is the worst bbq I have ever eaten. Don't spend a dime at this place...trust me, I cannot believe how bad it was.
yuck!!!
are you kidding??? this is not even barbecue!it is water , and not even a good flavor of water. the service is the worst, and the food is even worse. i have never had a worse meal in my life. that includes anything on a comerical airplane, and the crap they feed you in the hospital. anyone who thinks this is good food in the least is just too lazy to cook for themselves, or too lazy to find somewhere that actually has good food. try to get out more often. a mc donalds day old burger that has sat out all night is better than this crap!!!
food and flight
good food and you can watch the worlds greatest fighter pilots buzz around near by Nellis AFB. Who could ask for anything more! get the sweet potato, it is to die for.
WORTH THE DRIVE
Made a point of going there on our recent trip to Vegas. Was quite suprised at how far away from the strip and downtown area it was. Once we got there the atmospere and food were worth the drive. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. Soft drinks come in a quart mason jar, something you don't see to often. Had the chicken and rib combo and was not prepared for the amount of food that they can put on a plate. Ribs falling of the bone and 2 chicken breast quarters along with one of the biggest baked potatoes I've ever seen. Wife had the ribs and declared them to be the best she's ever had. Was worth the trip and we will be going back on our next trip to Vegas. We can't figure out how they came in second in the Best of Vegas voting. They are # 1 in our book for BBQ
Soooo much great food

Every time my husband and I visit a MB are eyes are always to big for our bellys. The portions are out of control. Every dish can serve at least two and the nachoes are a meal not an appitizer. Piled high with baked beans, pork chesse and all the other toppings they are to die for. If yu ever get to Chicago visit the place where it all started. It's the first place I head to when I get off the plane from NJ. DElicious, Yum, Terrific
Really great ribs!
Really great ribs and service. Casual dining at its best! 2 really big meals for less than a forty dollar bill.

I'm from KCMO the home of BBQ - and the ribs and pulled pork are great at Memphis BBQ. Love it.
