The Little Buddha Cafe is a stateside adaptation of the Parisian hipster hotspot, the Buddha Bar (from the Paris that's actually in France, not the one on the Strip). But where the original is more a nightclub than a restaurant, with its live DJ and bustling bar the main focal points, its "little" American cousin opts for a more sedate atmosphere.
Oriental and western classical music plays quietly in the background for a casually- dressed clientele, who more often than not pass on the sake for one of the bar's impressive selections of foreign and domestic beers. Diners walk through a stunning entranceway, past giant Japanese Buddhas, and into a multi-level restaurant divided into concentric circles. A surprisingly mid-priced menu (the surroundings suggest a heavier tab) features such Chinese specialties as orange chicken, grilled Asian pork ribs and Peking-style duck, as well as a large sushi bar.

Tourist Trap

Salmon was tasteless, portions are okay....but the service is terrible. Restaurant host came to table to ask how was everything, when I told I was disappointed with one of the dishes he came up with a very lame excuse. He did not even offer to take it back and have the dish done again. Clearly, not interested in having people coming back.

I ate there last night and every time it is excellent. There is a new Sushi Restaurant out Eastern Avenue next door to Gaetano's Italian Restaurant and it is called Kaizen.....excellent if you don't feel like driving to the Palms. It is between the Siverado Ranch and Green Valley neighborhoods.
You are better off going to Paris!

Dont bother making a reservation you will be seated at the bar regardless. Overall, the service sucks and the food will never be good enough to compensate for their staffing flaws!
