Famed for its enormous portions, you'll never leave hungry after visiting Hash House. The entrees come on platters that could block out the sun. The restaurant's one-pound stuffed burger is a prime example of the gut-busting gourmet comfort food menu. The impressive burger features two patties with mashed potatoes and apple-smoked bacon smashed between them. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Hash House offers a reasonably priced menu that is perfectly suited for family dining, though most of the crowd tends to be trendy urbanites. Comfortable booths and tables with stainless steel tabletops fill the warm and inviting dining room.

Breakfast, particularly weekend brunch, is Hash House's crowning glory, as crowds line up for a brown sugar banana or butterscotch almond flapjacks, sage fried chicken with maple reduction and salmon basil egg scrambles served with crispy potatoes. For something that'll still be sticking to your ribs well into the evening, start your day with a down-home plate of biscuits and sausage gravy, with the restaurant's signature six-inch sprig of rosemary standing straight up atop the dish. Dinner is a bit more sophisticated, with premium steaks and pastas dominating the menu. An extensive wine selection is available during lunch and dinner hours.

  • Fresh squeezed NOTHING! Breakfast winner? NO WAY!

    Review rating : 1out of 5   LiteUpThatHalo - 06/26/2008

The OJ is from a CARTON, which the bartender showed me today. Yet, they charge more than a restaurant that actually fresh squeezed the juice (OPH). False advertising! Why doesn't someone expose them.
Maybe OK for lunch, but NO WAY a breakfast contender! Who's faking this contest for them???????????

Not sure what indianarealtor is talking about. The chicken hash with 2 FRIED eggs is my favorite, and the juice is fresh squeezed. Tangerine being my favorite. We bring all of our out-of-town friends to the Hash House for an entertaining and wonderful meal.

We have never had a dissappointing meal at the Hash House A Go Go.
It's a hip and fun place to go.

Huge portions, but two major problems--eggs came only scrambled--how can you be a breakfast restaurant with only scrambled eggs?
Also the "fresh squeezed OJ was NOT--it was "squeezed for us at our comissary in California"(!) Guess we will go back to the Original Pancake Houses for REAL fresh fruit and jucies. LOUD music, also.

  • BIG servings,GREAT food and service, too!

I finally found a place where the servings are large enough to fill me up, and I get good food along with it! Oh! Did I mention that we have never had bad service? Sometimes it's a bit slow but I can see that they are (understandably) busy. Only bad thing is that their Corned Beef Hash is so good, I wish that they had a Corned Beef Sandwich! Also, I guess that it's because they make so much from scratch and it's not pre-made food..I feel FULL, but not bloated or uncomfortable when I eat there.

  • Excellent!!

Finally got to Hash House the last time we were in Vegas, what an experience! After seeing HH on Martha Stewart, I knew I had to try it! I had breakfast, one of the scrambles and my husband had lunch, a meatloaf sandwich. Both dishes melted in your mouth! Even though we were both stuffed, we had to try the snickers pancake, yum! Well worth the wait! I am going next time I am in Vegas.

Never had a meal I was disappointed with. Outstanding!!! It is a must visit when you have out of town guests!!! Show them a great experience OFF the strip!

  • The place rocks for lunch

    Review rating : 5out of 5   finisterreusa - 02/13/2008

I had heard from friends that the Hash House is "the place" for breakfast, but I could not get up in time so I tried it for Lunch. Since I had not eaten Breakfast I was starved. The place was packed, so I ate at the bar. There were so many interesting items it was hard to choose. I narrowed it down to the Pork Tenderloin sandwich or a Burger. I went with the Burger and I am glad I did. It was massive, two half pound patties with cheddar cheese, smoked Bacon and Avocado. The buns must be baked on premise and the meat was cooked to my liking. I will definitely go back for breakfast, this place rocks. Bob the bartender made me a lemonade with kiwi that was out of this world.
