Even in an anything-goes town like Las Vegas, there are places that are too wild for the tourist brochures. The Green Door is the citys most celebrated social spot, which is a polite euphemism for sex club. Opened in 1998, the 18,000 square foot club is open to whatever behavior turns you on, with as many partners as you can handle, as long as youre over 18, the hookups are consensual and no money is exchanged. To help the mood along, there are group beds and showers, unisex bathrooms and special spaces sporting themes from a dungeon to a doctors office. TWO WERE SINGLE AND/OR DIVORCED, FOUR WERE MARRIED VISITORS AND WERE THERE WITH THEIR PERMISSIVE HUSBANDS. IT HAPPENED EVERY WAY POSSIBLE IN SIX DIFFERENT LOCATIONS INCLUDING THE CO-ED SHOWERS. I was visiting Vegas during a business trip.
A client told me to check it out, but I was not too willing to spend the extra price as a single male.
A few couples were active and quite a few singles were walking around checking things out.
I ended up taking a couple of ladies back to my hotel with me for a night of fun.
