The most recent addition to Las Vegass off-Strip triangle of gay clubs and lounges, Free Zone didnt so much open as explode upon the alternative lifestyle scene. The bar/restaurant/nightclub combo may be best known for its drag show Queens of Las Vegas, performed every Friday and Saturday, but the weekly calendar is packed with special events, from Ladies and Boys nights to wet t-shirt contests and dance parties featuring karaoke and a house DJ. Though the more raucous goings-on take place after midnight, the Free Zone also plays host to a more sedate crowd during the day, that gather for conversation, a game of pool and the Zones popular Martini Socials. To be honest...I expected more from a gay bar in LAS VEGAS! Rap/ Hip Hop Music, no remixes at all...Just not worth even going into. C'mon get some real gay bars, instead of groupie hang outs!

Shawn M. is the best and the What*A*Drag show is second to none. I must admit that the patrons need to tip the What*A*Drag performers more, damn penny pinchers. The Gypsy has good music it is just that there are too many queens trying to act cool. The staff at Freezone could use some people skills and the Sin City Drags need more practice on the words to the songs and some dancing skills. Over all, my partner and I like it there.

I was there Thursday night 9/5, the place was quite full. Very Clique-ish. Bar service was fast but not friendly at all, and the strippers were more into their girlfriends than working the crowd. Gipsy was alot more fun and they made me feel alot more welcome. The only redeeming quality is that the drinks were inexpensive and service was fast. Next time I will take my boys to The Room or Gipsy

Well I've been there twice now, 1st time it was kind of dirty and there was this dyke and cute girl grinding on the dance floor.. And I couldn't believe 5 mos later after on my 2nd visit the dyke was there again! LOL 2-funny.. But at any rate, the drinks are more than other places in the area, they were okay, musicwise I think they should keep it one style or another, it went from Rap to dance, to 70's to RB.. Keep it one style.. New place to check out is WET Bar & Cafe.. everyone is nice there and they have fun stuff going on.. Gypsys is also fun, get there before 11 on saturdays, before Midnite on fridays and no cover, drinks are better, say Hi to PETER the gorgeous hunky bartender- he's from down Unda lol.. ;p

My friend Kevin and I are completely devoted to Free Zone. :o) We start there, make our rounds and inevitably end back at the Free Zone. I love the service, the new shooter girl especially & trying to get my friend Kevin to be naughty with hot men! :o) Sometimes it's wild and crazy but we add our own little touches! Free Zone is awesome on Saturday nights. If you haven't been there! What the hell is your problem? GO! :o)

I was just at the freezone now 3 different nights and had a blast!tues ladies night was great with all the pretty ladies, so then I brought my buddy Jason there for boys night thurs and he loved the male srippers. So we came back sat. and there was such a fun mixed crowd. We will be going only there in the future. All the staff was very nice and helped us with everything. The owner Kaye went way out her way to make a good time for us. Kaye are you single yet?? Great gorgeous bartenders male and female.Keep up the good work!

Visited one Friday afternoon, so it was pretty dead. Enjoyed the surroundings though. And the young blond bartender was very friendly to us. (Sure would love to run into him in a dark alley ;-) Someone from the restaurant came over and asked us if we wanted anything to eat (also very handsome man). We were very pleased with the service. We will be back the next time we're in town.

Reasonably good service.
Music is outdated but would be alright if they played more than the same six or seven songs over and over. Really rude butch lesbians looking for a fight seem to be the norm. Crowded but no cute girls to be found.Really young crowd, might be fun if you don't have standards.DLaird128's Review
Cool bar, but they need more tables and more room. More than 3 pool tables would also be a plus. Laid back place, and nobody really bothers you. No high pressuring for shot drinks, fair prices on drinks, and the music is cool!!! Packed on weekends, but dies down around 3:00 A.M.
Sparky's Review

Usually the first place I go to when I visit the "Fruit Loop". Low-priced drinks, good music, *nice* bartenders (as opposed to other places), and pornographic video games. Very cool. Oh, and to all you homophobes out there posting filth: Gay people mean only _less competition_ for you... or are you a closet case?
