The most recent addition to Las Vegass off-Strip triangle of gay clubs and lounges, Free Zone didnt so much open as explode upon the alternative lifestyle scene. The bar/restaurant/nightclub combo may be best known for its drag show Queens of Las Vegas, performed every Friday and Saturday, but the weekly calendar is packed with special events, from Ladies and Boys nights to wet t-shirt contests and dance parties featuring karaoke and a house DJ. Though the more raucous goings-on take place after midnight, the Free Zone also plays host to a more sedate crowd during the day, that gather for conversation, a game of pool and the Zones popular Martini Socials. Loads of fun
Bartenders are fun and very quick to get ya a drink, that are very reasonably priced I have to say. I always have fun when I go there, the crowd is really diverse which makes it not only fun, but unpredictable which is nice. Seems like the place to be on most nights, and I will be going back.

There Drag revue is horrible there performance in imitating these stars is slap to there face I'm embarrassed for them What a Drag
ok on a slow day
I have been there a few good times and they were when the place was slow and the people were very friendly. I went in just to waste some time and had a lot of fun. It was in the middle of the day and Christmas EVE. Both times there were people in there just having some good ole fun. From Kareoke to just chillin. I have also been there to dance and I must agree with the other writter, when the crowd is dancing and you put on a wack song and clear the dance floor switch it up and bring the jams back. It is a Friday or Saturday night we come out to DANCE ALL NIGHT LONG.
hot boyz night thursday

my friends and i enjoy the male revue especially when its free, great show that's shawn m
Sucks
Women want to have a good time. Yes peoplewant to talk but you need good music. IF your a gay bar you want all gay people not just a specific kind. The music needs to be more diverse and also need to pay attention to what the customers want is that not the most important thing. When you play the music everyone heres all the time that is what customers want to dance to. When the techno is playing people leave the floor it is ok but not hte jams.Watch your dance floor and see what yoyr customers want I promise it will become more and more popular. The bar does have one of the better layed back vibes make it work pack your joint everynight. The no cver is great but the music sucks.
.
staff crazy and fun, great prices on drinks lots of giveaways, fun to party at, gaming machines pay out lots:)

I have been going to Freezone since I came out when I was 22 that was almost 5 years ago and although I don't get there as much as I used to when I get the chance I go. In fact I have to say every night of the week is fun there for the fact that everyone is friendly. I agree that some of the staff could use some training on people skills but I have to say Flow, and when Robyn used to be there oh that was one shooter girl that I bought shots from all night long. God I miss her she was the nicest one I have met there except for Bear... Where did Bear go anyway? I guess that is what happens when you move so much and come back home ( the freezone home) nothin' like it. If you haven't been you should go especially on Friday or Saturday.
Free Zone
I was just at the Free Zone on Monday and Tuesday night. Monday wasn't the greatest but then I did leave early. Tuesday night was definantly a great night. Each night the bartenders were awesome, the patrons were cool and friendly. The food looked awesome. The music change up was nice, nothing set in stone to get old, so it was better to cater to all the patrons than just a few. The shots were slamming. A little slow before 9pm, but all in all, I had a great time.
Dingy But Unpretentious
this place is better than the more aesthetically pleasing spot accross the street on paradise. the music is less generic and more party. the crowd is great and much younger and not trying so hard- the way the gipsy crowd likes to put on airs. Free Zone is awesom on Thursday which is the only night I went but in case you didnt figure it out the cover is $0 everynight.
