An airy, attractive venue with Spanish Mediterranean decor, this restaurant stands out from the rest of the Row. It serves dozens of small plates (aka tapas, for all you foodie trend-followers) as well as a few rather unusual entrees. Must-try items include the spicy lamb sausage and the sauteed shrimp with salsa verde. Though tapas are a Spanish concept, most on this menu are suited to local tastes. You'll find bruschetta, ceviche and duck egg rolls -- dishes that are international, but not exactly foreign -- as well as familiar nibbles like the parmesan cheese fries and calamari. The appropriate way to enjoy your meal is with a large group of friends, preferably ones who don't mind sharing their food, and ideally ones who can quaff as much sangria as you can. That sweet, red wine concoction is an integral part of any tapas feast. Live music in the main bar area is Firefly's own innovation, and it definitely adds to the ambience. Food is served into the wee hours, making this an ideal place for a leisurely, European-style midnight supper.

The best late-night, fun, and good eatery in town. The food is fantastic and so is the atmosphere. Dont go there just to eat but to hang out at night too!

Firefly is a really fun place for a group of friends to experience. They serve "tapas" which is basically appetizers and Firefly's are great- around 60 different dishes, all under 10 bucks.

I saw this place on Rachel Ray's $40 a Day show. It's got a great vibe, cool people, cool music. Try the Sangria or Mojitos. My girlfriends and I had a blast and now meet their almost every week.

A cool joint with lots of local flair and great mediterranian food. If you like eating tapas at a bar, this is as good as it gets, outside Sevilla Spain.

  • What about the dates?

How can you mention Firefly and not mention the bacon wrapped dates?? Their strawberry shortcake is also to die for ( and not that fattening). The only real problem is do you sit outside and enjoy the evening air, sit in the comfy sofas inside or head to the main dining area for front row seating for the live music?!

  • Great locals spot

You know the food is awesome because if you talk to the regulars they are all strip restaurant maitre d's, managers and chefs. We can't visit without a double order of Albondigas!
