An airy, attractive venue with Spanish Mediterranean decor, this restaurant stands out from the rest of the Row. It serves dozens of small plates (aka tapas, for all you foodie trend-followers) as well as a few rather unusual entrees. Must-try items include the spicy lamb sausage and the sauteed shrimp with salsa verde. Though tapas are a Spanish concept, most on this menu are suited to local tastes. You'll find bruschetta, ceviche and duck egg rolls -- dishes that are international, but not exactly foreign -- as well as familiar nibbles like the parmesan cheese fries and calamari. The appropriate way to enjoy your meal is with a large group of friends, preferably ones who don't mind sharing their food, and ideally ones who can quaff as much sangria as you can. That sweet, red wine concoction is an integral part of any tapas feast. Live music in the main bar area is Firefly's own innovation, and it definitely adds to the ambience. Food is served into the wee hours, making this an ideal place for a leisurely, European-style midnight supper.

Culture in the Middle of Vegas
I too have been to Spain and eated in "cafeterias" which is what they call their local bars. Sawdust is on the floor along with olive pits, chicken bones and cigarette butts! I saw a guy catch his pant cuff on fire and douse it with beer - too fun, it's loud and rauchous and Firefly is the closest to a real Spanish cafeteria I have found on mainland USA!
We are locals an truly love Firefly, when we have a company event or just to hang with friends this is our favorite destination. Try their Sangria's white and red are both excellente`Add CommentTapas
I thought the food was very good. The place was packed, however we still got great service and at a great price. I am a local and will go back. Some tourists go to these places, and already have their minds made up that it won't be good, such as the Spaniard who commented.
A True Vegas Gem

I love Firefly. I'm a local and appreciate a unique place that's reasonably priced. The food is always amazing. A true Vegas original. I never get tired of the sangria and the menu. Try the skewers with the shrimp, steak and chorizo. Awesome.
Firefly is GREAT!

Don't listen to that Spanish guy who wrote the bad review. I've been to Spain a dozen times and I can tell you that their "tapas", although they may be "authentic" are usually just garbage. Potato chips or a bowl of olives or some stale bread.
Firefly has the best food in town for my money. Plus I can't stand Spanish guys. They are a bunch of nationalistic, arrogant jerks. Spain this and Spain that. Forget them. Check out Firefly for BETTER than the "real" thing.the worst tapas i have
this ia a very bad restaurant i am from spain and i can tell you i went there hopping to found good food from spain my country

Went July 8th AGAIN!!! It was so good every other time. Variety of music. I thought there'd be too much rap but when the "mood" music goes on you know they "get it". The waitress on the patio on 7/8 was fab! A go get em type to make your experience tops. Had a fanatastic time like always. Great red sangria- we keep coming back.
Pick anything on the menu
Food great, fun place for older folks also. Our group (8) over 60 and found place to be really fun.. will be back
So satisfying!

Firefly is one of the best restaurants in Vegas! Those that eat there for the first time will no doubt return to try different menu selections. All the food is amazing! I've brought my husband who is the pickiest eater I know...and he loved it! There's something on the menu for everyone! Clams and chorizo...shrimp in the garlic sauce...sangria - just too delicious for words! Reservations are definitely recommended. We made them for midnight and rushed right through the extensive line outside the door! A definite must if you're visiting and want great food in a fun atomosphere!
Awesome Tapas & Sangria
I do not even know where to start. My husband & I just returned from 4 day in Vegas. Had read about Firefly & thought we would give it a try for a snack & drinks at happy hour when we arrived. We ended up there 3 nights in a row. We are not big fans of the crouded, overly trendy strip clubs. I mean clubs on the strip, not strip clubs - :), so Firefly was perfect for us. We had Sangria each night, as well as a sampling of their other house favorites (mojitos, martinis etc.) We were celebrating my 39th birthday. Seemed to be mostly a 20's croud, but not too trendy that anyone would not feel comfortable. Do yourself a favor & do not skip this place on your next visit to Vegas. Everthing about it is awesome. Drinks are great, food is amazing, atmosphere perfect. If you can think of dining as a sensual exprience, I can say that some dishes were so good, that I think I blushed at the taste!! We sat at the bar, which was fun. Do not be fooled by the outside or location. It will surely be your favorite when in Vegas!
