This simple, yet divine steakhouse is a fabulous respite from the typical Vegas glitz.
To say that Craftsteak merely creates extraordinary steaks would do the restaurant a great disservice. James Beard award-winning chef Tom Colicchio is emphatic when it comes to creating menu items that appeal to all lovers of fine food. Using the purest ingredients and a philosophy of "simpler is better," he makes every dish burst forth with flavor, deserving of its fine reputation. While this famous steakhouse offers mainstays like Kobe beef, it also tempts your taste buds with veal, salmon and lobster dishes. The entrees aren't the specialties here. The whole menu is.

In Short
Shimmering light plays off bulbous bottles that line deep, rich, earth-toned walls. Tree sculptures and bowls of fruit around the dining room add a natural element. Like the decor, natural ingredients are key: Sauteed Nantucket scallops touched with white wine taste right out of the water, and succulent short ribs melt on the palate. Sides include leek gratin potatoes and vibrant green sauteed spinach. The dreamy Creamsicle cheesecake should not be missed.

GEMATLIN - 07/10/2008Absolutely the most tender, flavorful melt in your mouth steak I have ever had. The attentive but unobstrusive service is also top notch. Very pricey but worth money.

MLing3480 - 06/18/2008The Filet was the most tender and flavorful steak that I have had. The Lobster Bisque was outstanding with big chunks of lobster. There are many-many-many kinds of wine and they are all wonderful to the palate.

choclati - 08/29/2003Have dined at Craftsteak three times and I think it surpasses both Prime and Delmonicos. On my last visit couldnt get a table but dined at the bar and had unbelievable heirloom tomato salad, seared scallops and kobe steak. For dessert dont miss the monkey bread...yes, dont ask, just try it. Its addictive. Had the greatest bartender and server in one, ask for Alexis. You wont be disappointed!
