One of the most understated and luxurious hotel-casinos in town.

In Short
The Bellagio officially ushered in a classier Vegas: The hotel is gorgeous in its design and amenities. Low ceilings and gathered fabric over the gaming tables make small canopies, helping create a more intimate space. The Via Bellagio aims to compete with Rodeo Drive and raises retail in Las Vegas to the platinum level. But the biggest draw is the 10-acre man-made lake in front of the hotel with fountains that dance to music broadcast through hidden speakers.
Insider Tips

Know Before You Go
Visit the hotel's Gallery of Fine Art, which features exhibits by some of the world's top artists.

The Extras
The conservatory is a distinct pleasure for desert dwellers, featuring a beautiful array of plants in bloom that changes with the seasons.

  • HORRIBLE

We checked into our room, and it was already occupied with a young couple.
Got into a new room, refridgerator broken. We awoke to construction noise next morning. Checked out and had items charged to our acct! Hotel front desk VERY RUDE!!!

They offered us 2 free nights. We went back there, and ate at the Buffet. They served me a rotten piece of chicken. Immediately I felt sick and vomited all over the table. Ran to the bathroom, where attendant laughed and said "that happens all the time"

The hotel refused to admit to other complaints about the rancid meat. Told me I was a liar, and tried to settle with me with a free night & dinner... I will NEVER go back there

The best time I ever had in Vegas was staying at the Bellagio. The standard room was anything but standard. Marbled bathroom was spacious and opulent. The buffet was top notch and the gaming area was roomy and not too loud. Just enjoyed everything about the Bellagio.

  • Excellent Suite and service.

  • Don't Stay Here!!!!!

    Review rating : 1out of 5   eleysgifts - 01/15/2006

One star is way to generous! The staff is arrogant, snobby, and not willing to give guests the respect they pay for! I also had this manager named Robert who lied thru his teeth. Seems to me he has offended others. I've stayed at the Cipriani in Venice, Plaza Athenee in Paris, The Augusta in Forte de Marma, Mauna Launi in Hawaii, etc. This place does not rate with Howard Johnson's.

  • Who's paying for MGM'S trophy

Yes, the fountains are beautiful. But you should see them and keep on walking. If you step inside, make sure to check your wallet before you leave. Wynn built a beautiful place which MGM spent top dollar for, and now they have to steal from anyone who walks thru the front door. This hotel is now owned by a bunch of bean counting middle managers that are too busy lining their own pockets to be concerned with quality of detail. I would not be surprised if the favorable reviews you read are written by shills. Stay at the Wynn, the Venetian, Caesars, The Palms, anywhere but Bellagio! Walk by and admire the fall of the roman empire. Disgratsiata.
