  • My Favorite LV Restaurant

    Review rating : 5out of 5   jtorsney - 07/20/2007

Andre's is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I find it superior to places like Picasso, Olives, and Shintaro that I am also very fond of. The setting is a very small dining room on the main floor with subdued but beatiful decor. There is additional seating on the second floor. The menu is very much what one would expect from a formal Franch restaurant. On my last visit, I started with Beef Tartare and had Duck for my entree. For desert, I chose profiteroles. All courses were exceptional. Readers should note that deserts like souffles and tart tartins should be placed along with your dinner order. Andre's has a very high quality wine list with a broad variety of choice.
Service at Andre's is outstanding, with wait staff always nearby without hovering. Another worthwhile feature is the Cigar Lounge on the second floor. The selection of cigars and cordials was excellent. I would recommend Andre's to anyone without qualification. I look forward to my next visit.

Andre's at the Monte Carlo was a dining experience. We had a large party (12) and all entrees were not only presented at the same time, but the silver dome covers were all lifted with a flurish and a the French WhaLha! Most impressive. The food was excellent in presentation and taste. I will return.

    Review rating : 2out of 5   bhelling - 02/08/2005

What a disappointment--we had heard good things about Andre's--went there on our 50th Anniversary and were both disappointed--poor service and ordinary food. Didn't rate as a good French restraurant in any way.
