For more than 30 years, the Rosati family has served its delectable pizzas in Chicago, a town where they know the difference between quality and rubbish. Though the place may not have the national reputation of a Nancy's or a Pizzeria Uno, Rosati's has a large loyal following and is equally adept at the deep-dish style that the Windy City made famous, and the traditional thin crust pies that can be topped 17 different ways. There's also a 'double-dough' pizza, extra-thick with a hand-rolled edge. Ask any Chicagoan and he'll tell you it's the sausage that makes or breaks a hometown pizza, and at Rosati's all the meat toppings have the requisite spicy zing. The menu also features Italian beef, subs, pasta dishes and a few non-Italian specials, such as barbecued ribs and country-fried chicken. Carry-out and delivery only. -- David Hofstede

    I moved to Las Vegas from Chicago three years ago and haven't tasted any pizza that compares to Rosati's. I can't wait for them to open more locations in the valley.

    When we first moved to Las Vegas in 1999, getting a decent Pizza was impossible. Bad water seemed to be the biggest problem. Thank God for a place called the Bootlegger. We discovered Metro Pizza later and they do a pretty good job, but two years ago along came Rosati's. I don't have to brag about being from Chicago, -which I am not, to know a good slice of pizza. I like Rosatis. The best sauce anywhere! Unfortunately CityGuide seems of the opinion that there is only one Rosati's in Henderson. Thankfully there are more.
